FAQ

1. Conference fees and multiple presenters/papers

Each author who is present at the conference pays the fee according to the instructions that are available here: Conference fees.

One author can submit and present a maximum of two (2) papers. For each Accepted Paper, at least one author must register, pay the registration fee, and personally present the paper at the conference.

If two papers are accepted for the presentation, each paper requires a separate registration fee.

The author of two papers who presents both papers at the conference pays the full fee for the first paper (always the highest fee i.e. the most expensive conference fee) and a flat 100€ for the second paper.

If both/all authors of a paper participate at the Conference, the presenter pays the full fee for the paper (always the highest fee i.e. the most expensive conference fee) and the other author(s) pay the fee of 195€ (for registrations made by April 2, 2023) or 225€ (for registrations made by May 2, 2023).

2. Reviewing

Papers for Refereed Papers (R-type) will go a double peer-review process before the Conference and those fulfilling the reviewers’ standards will be published in the Conference proceedings (a book on CD) and later on published through the EBSCO publishing system. However, the papers NOT fulfilling the reviewers’ standard will be published only on the Working Paper series CD. The status of the paper will be announced during the Conference. The status could mean that the paper is rejected or accepted (with/without modifications) for the Conference Proceedings. The authors of the accepted papers will be required to declare whether they accept the proposed status of the paper, and their willingness to make the changes indicated by the reviewers.

Having declared their willingness to follow the reviewer's requirements, the authors agree to the following:

  • to guarantee that the submitted paper has not been published, accepted for publication, or is under consideration for publication elsewhere; and
  • to release the copyright to the Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism, University of Split.

Papers for Papers in progress (S-type) will be discussed during the Conference.

The authors do not need:

  • to guarantee that the submitted paper has not been published, accepted for publication, or is under consideration for publication elsewhere; and
  • to release the copyright to the Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism, University of Split.

3. What will the conference proceedings include?

Conference Proceedings is a digital format compilation of all the accepted papers (except for those approved for publishing in selected Journals).

4. Online submission and registration system

The entire communication regarding the International Conference on Challenges of Europe will be done through our online system.
