Referred Papers (RP)
Referred papers (RP) will undergo a double-blind peer review before the conference and will be considered for publication in the conference partner journals (both special and regular issues) and for other publication opportunities. Decision about acceptance in the aforementioned publications will be announced after the conference
To be considered for publication, authors must present their paper in the form of either an oral presentation or a poster. Presentation guidelines will be provided with the notification of full paper acceptance for presentation.
During the conference, authors may receive additional feedback and advice on how to improve their paper from other participants and in particular from journal editors. The authors must submit the final version of their paper within three weeks of the conference. A selection panel of programme committee members and other external reviewers will make a decision on the papers and recommend publication options (expected by mid-summer 2025).
The authors of the referred papers will be notified of the review results and their paper’s status (accepted, accepted with minor revisions, accepted with major revisions, rejected). After that, the authors may proceed with the procedure for publication in the specified journal/publication or withdraw the paper from the publication process.
Regular Working Papers (RWP) & Young Researchers’ Working Papers (YWP)
Working papers will not undergo a double-blind peer review. However, the authors may receive useful feedback from discussants, peers and senior economists during the session to improve their paper.
Regular Working Papers (RWP) are presented during regular conference tracks, and require an oral presentation or poster presentation.
Young Researchers’ Working Papers (YWP), prepared by PhD students and early-stage researchers (e.g. teaching assistants and project researchers that are not enrolled in a PhD study programme), are presented and discussed in dedicated special sessions. Only oral presentations are permitted for these presentations.
Presentation guidelines will be provided with the notification of acceptance.
