Registration fee

Every author attending the conference pays the fee as follows:
Early Registration fee (for the Payment and registration until March 25, 2019)
Regular Registration fee (for the Payment and registration until May 8, 2019)

* Lower income countries: African and Latin America countries, Albania, Asia countries (excluding Japan, Korea and Israel), Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine.

*** The accompanying person fee is for participants who are not paper co-authors.

Conference fees and multiple presenters / papers

One author can submit and present a maximum of two (2) papers.
For each Accepted Paper, at least one author must register, pay the registration fee, and personally present the paper in the conference.

If two papers are accepted for the presentation, each paper requires a separate registration fee as follows:

  • The author of two papers who presents both papers at the conference pays the full fee for the first paper (always the highest fee i.e. the most expensive conference fee) and a flat 100€ for the second paper. The co-author(s) not presenting at the Conference do(es) not pay the Conference fee.
  • If both/all authors of a paper participate at the Conference, the presenter pays the full fee for the first paper (always the highest fee i.e. the most expensive conference fee) and the other author(s) pay the fee of 180 € (for registrations made by March 25, 2019) or 200 € (for registrations made by May 8, 2019).
Papers for Refereed Papers (R-type) will undergo a double peer-review process before the Conference and those fulfilling the reviewers’ standards will have the opportunity to be published in the Conference Proceeding or Journals indexed/abstracted in: Current Contents – Social & Behavioral Sciences, Social Sciences Citation Index, Journal Citation Reports (Thomson Reuters), IBSS – International Bibliography of the Social Sciences (LSE), Scopus (Elsevier), ProQuest LLC, EBSCO Publishing bibliographic, and research databases.

Papers for Papers in progress (S-type), Young participant papers (Y-type), Special Session Papers (X-type) and PhD workshop papers (P-type) will only be discussed during the Conference and NOT published in the Conference Proceeding or Journals.

You can submit your Special Session Proposal in this online form before November 5, 2018.

Participant Registration fee includes:

  • Access to the networking area (including coffee break area)
  • Conference materials upon confirmation of your registration
  • Coffee breaks as indicated in the programme
  • Access to Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Conference
  • A USB with all the Conference presentations as permitted by the presenting authors

Accompanying Person's registration fee includes:

  • Access to the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Conference

Complementary for all registered participants that pay full registration fee:

  • Welcome reception
  • Closing party

Please note that a confirmation of your payment (a copy of your Conference Fee payment slip) is required. You are kindly requested to submit a scanned copy to us through the Online Registration System.
You will receive a confirmation of your registration by e-mail within three days upon the submission.

The submission of the confirmation of the Conference Fee payment is a prerequisite for presentation of your paper at the Conference and for the inclusion of your paper into the Conference Working Papers / Proceedings.

Amounts in US$ are payable according to the exchange rate of EUR on the day of payment.

Please ask your bank to specify that the payment has been made for the "Intl Conference "Challenges of Europe 2019" Conference Fee payment for (your name and surname)".

Note: All transfer charges and any other financial costs have to be paid by the sender.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICIES

  • For any cancellation occurring on or before May 8, 2019, 100% of the registration fee will be refunded.
  • For cancellations occurring between May 8, 2019 and May 15, 2019, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded.
  • Please note: Refunds of registration fees received after May 15, 2019 are not available.

The refund will be made by a bank transfer that will be made to the payee nominated account and all bank charges will be directly deducted from the refund. All cancellation requests must be emailed to the Conference Organizing Committee at (conference@efst.hr).
