Conference fees

Each author who is present at the Conference pays the fee as follows:

* Lower income countries: Africa and Latin American countries, Albania, Asian countries (excluding Japan, Korea and Israel), Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine.
** Participants born in 1985 or later.

Conference fees and multiple presenters / papers

Each author who is present at the conference pays the fee according to the instructions presented in the table above.

One author can submit and present maximum of two (2) papers.

If one person is presenting 2 papers and other authors of the same papers are not present, then the first paper fee is paid in full and the second paper fee is paid minimum of 175 €. Authors who are not present at the Conference are not subjected to Conference fees, but at least one author must be present and pay the fee.

If more authors of the same paper are present at the Conference then the presenter pays the fee in full and others pay the fee reduced by 50 € having in mind that the amount paid cannot be less than 175 €.

Included in the Conference  Participant Registration fee:

  • Access to the networking area (including coffee break area)
  • Conference materials upon confirmation of your registration
  • Coffee breaks as indicated in the programme
  • Access to Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Conference
  • CD/USB with all Conference presentations permitted by the presenting authors

Included in the Accompanying Person’s registration fee:

  • Access to the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Conference

Complementary for all registered participants that pay full registration fee:

  • Welcome reception, Get-together party and Closing party

Please note that a confirmation of your payment (a copy of your Conference Fee payment slip) is required. You are kindly requested to submit this copy to us in scanned form, through Online Registration System.
You will receive confirmation of your registration by e-mail within three days upon the submission.
The submission of the confirmation of the Conference Fee payment is a prerequisite for presentation of your paper at the Conference, and thus for the inclusion of your paper into the Conference Working Papers / Proceedings .

Amounts in US$ are payable according to the exchange rate of EUR on the day of payment.

Please, ask your bank to specify that the payment has been made for the "Challenges of Europe 2017" Conference Fee payment for (your name and surname)".

Note: All transfer charges and any other financial costs have to be paid by the sender.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • For cancellations received till 14th April 2017, registration fees will be refunded (full amount).*
  • For cancellations received from 15th April 2017 till 30th April 2017, 50% of registration fee will be refunded.*
  • Registration fees received after 30th April 2017 will not be refunded.

* The refund will be made by bank transfer and all bank charges will be for the registrants account. In case of cancellation, the Congress Organizer should be notified by e-mail (conference@efst.hr).
